Make believe is the stuff that keep's our imaginations alive.
Creativity is an extension of make believe and an integral part of anyone who writes, draws, sews, paints, or creates.

I think that we, as writers, employ make believe a lot. How else would we be able to write that story, poem or screenplay that is just aching to be out there?

I have an elderly friend who contacts me regularly just to hear what my Gnomes are up to lately. He especially likes the summer time because it is amazing what a bunch of garden Gnomes can get into at times.
