Re: As curious creatures, we never stop learning.
Your mother is awesome. My mother retired at age 70. She is still moving well at 82.

I tell everyone to retire while they are in their sixties if they can arrange it. I still had all my energy in my sixties and time to do different things that I wanted to do. Wrote a play and won an international prize with it, wrote several books for children and one for adults. learned how to paint rocks in my own unique way. travelled still... and grew wonderful fairy gardens.

As curious creatures, we never stop learning.
As for retirement, we have been discussing this a lot lately. My mom still works, and she is turning 72 this year. We always thought that 65 was the age as far as finances goes, but I believe that it is a mindset thing. You will know when you are ready...at least I hope so.

It's not a retirement...it's the birth of a second life!
