Life dictates and we adjust, adapt accordingly......I understand how difficult it must be for you.... having read you for so many years tells me that you will be fine and will inspire and motivate and delight us with your writings and poems... maybe little by little...Slow & steady wins the race :))

Taps....yes it's hard, about as hard as one can imagine. Everyone tells you you will survive, things will improve, you will learn to adjust. It's been 10 years since Joe Love had his heart attack, adjust? Not really. You just exist.

Our wonderful Taps, you have inspired both myself and Wiley over the years with your gentle love offered to us and your beautiful poems and stories of family. I have a treasure full of memories we have shared with writing. Keep writing as you can, reposting poems and never forget how precious you are to some people you never actually met in person.

Well Taps I hope writing on here affords you a little comfort. I always smiled when you mentioned dear Ribcage . I am sure you gave him some really happy years.
Take care and I am sure prayers will be offered to help you through your loss.

Re: The world as it suddenly is and all the other changes, plus losing
I have three daughters that keep me hopping. I used to keep up with them, but health issues have a way of making a person slow down. One little thing at a time is about where I am at in this stage of my life. Keeping busy is vital, but too much is overwhelming, at least for me it is. Change appears to be the word of the year. Good luck to you.

The world as it suddenly is and all the other changes, plus losing
Ribcage - if you're not lost in the Twilight Zone and totally discombobulated, it would be a miracle. One step at a time, one day at a time, and take notes... Maybe writing it will help a little. Hugs, Taps.
