Seems to me you've made your life in Eden, and then Eden Again.
There's something about a mountain that makes me feel sheltered - as though it's standing between me and anything dark or dangerous. But I've talked with people who feel mountains are looming, possibly threatening. Guess it's all about what the world was like where we grew up. Be well.

Yes I hope you escape those wretched one night stand of frosts.
We were not so lucky although you are a bit ahead of us as a rule.
This year it has been so hot that the dahlias have pushed green shoots
through the protective mulch. Last night was cold and blackened shoots were evident. So although I did not care really.
The man who sells the flowers and helps me, insisted that we go round and cover them over
