Yes I don't really like it when it is too hot to early in the year because we always get some cold nights at the middle of May. Frosts.

It has been rather cold here for May and is supposed to continue cold until next week so they say. I like your fairy poems. My sister and I loved growing up with fairy play. I miss her even though I have two lovely sisters about me.

There was barely a mention of VE day here in this neck of the woods.
I do remember way back when - the celebrations and tone of things over the radio after the armistice - and later the newspaper photos of people celebrating in New York City with a ticker tape parade and pretty girls kissing sailors as the confetti rained down. The grownups were talking about it being an end to all wars... so much hope.

Hope it warms back up again. The weather is changeable at this time of the year, isn't it? The elven folk I knew growing up were all quite nice. Didn't have the bluebells though.
