That is a favored treat for me.

There is nothing quite like sweet crab. Growing up in Delaware, we used to set crab cages every weekend at Port Mahon. I prefer my crab with a cold beer, but the tea will work too.

Absolutely a great read about your dad.  It reminds me of when my four sons were young and how much they loved it when we had crispy fried shrimp for dinner.  You could see them almost drooling, eyes sparkling, and every eye silently counting the number of shrimp served on each plate.  If it didn't come out even, Dad always got the extra and no one minded at all because he worked hard and paid for the food.

Nothing better for a child than a good dad, even when mother is

exceptionally good at support, encouragement and hot cocoa. Especially vital for a son to have an example and the ability to remember with gratitude. I loved this post.
