it is tough to be isolated for so long. You stay well and safe too.

Re: Sea Gypsy
It may be something they'll try if this shut down continues for too long. Right now the small staff is busy with the home delivered meals and delivery of food pantry items to shut-ins and seniors. They've tripled the number of people they used to serve, and the only volunteers these days are the ones who take care of these deliveries. Most of us old farts aren't all that tech savvy - but many do have cell phones, so perhaps they can come up with something.

Goodness, have you all considered looking into Zoom or another app like that one where meeting occur? The senior center could host a bingo game, a writing session; all sorts of things.

Life as we know it has changed in ways that are hard to accept.
Bingo is a big deal in our small community. Casino gambling is another favored outlet. We take walks, drives, garden, and play dice. Like you, I also lose time of days and special events. I now have to write everything down or I will forget. Scattered energy, bad dreams, a lack of sleep, and aches & pains are now a part of my new life since this pandemic took over. I just pray that we can go back to the way it was if even just a little bit, but only time will tell.
