- Go to What Is Herd Immunity and Could It Help Prevent COVID-19?
The herd immunity concept is a very interesting one. My guess is that it will be achieved with most getting it before the vaccine comes along (if a vaccine does come along).

I want to wait for a vaccine thanks love, exposing the population to the virus is a great idea if you don't mind watching thousands more of the weak the elderly and those with underlying complications already in their health die.
Of course it is a good way to get rid of the poor the homeless and those who can't afford health care and those annoying elderly who intend to live well into their nineties.

Now the word is that an allele, B46:01, may genetically predispose one to not being able to fight the virus as easily as others. There is so much information and misinformation on this. I understand Herd Immunity's concept, but what about those who don't survive? That concerns me a little bit.
