Any other time you might be able to drive to the cable co. for a new
remote. What a pain in the ... neck.

botheration...not fair but yes life happens. Actually I am so scared of spending money at present....can I afford the house with Wiley in full time care, so I cut my programmes to the bone. Now i am reading. Still not doing housework. LOL

Just kidding...
We had a remote that once did this. They reset our entire box, but we still get messages on the television, letting us know that we need new batteries even though we had just changed them.
