I came to Blogit at the strong suggestion of someone dear to me. I have no interest or agenda in anything. It, for me, was and is all about the poetry. The rest just morphed, for what it's worth - which ain't much. Blogit is probably the "safest" place for on-line blogging of poems. But I know not anything more. I always enjoy and respect the reading of folks here, even if I hold a personal opinion different from whoever it is that I'm reading.

I think we all deal with enough stress and negativity outside of our blogs. The mature approach is to come back with facts and present an intelligent opposition rather than attacking fellow bloggers for having the audacity to think differently. We can maturely agree to disagree. I'm not worried about it. He also could have just not read our blogs, but it seems that the almighty pennies mattered more. And last, but not least, I don't have blue hair. It is my favorite color. Maybe I will get some hair extension of cerulean blue. Thanks FSI for the thought!

Human nature is strange Pat.
The present underlying worries are deemed to be things
that normally one would not have to think about.
I think everyone is probably under a kind of hidden stress.
We have a situation that is far different from the usual little annoyances.

Very well stated.
You are right. There are many opinions. We each need to respect the thoughts and opinions of others. That is why there are so many writers, genres, and books lining bookshelfs with different topics. I left Blogit around 2007 with a heavy heart. It was not because of nasty people, but because I needed to expand my horizons, and I did just that. I came back because it was brought to my attention once again that blogging is a great way to post thoughts, daily happenings, and anything else that your heart desires. It is an open forum for posting, but the attacks and cticism are something that is for another site.
