That would have been from the time that I stumped my big toe... it was an ugly sight for awhile and it hurt like hell.

It is bigger than usual (swollen) and very dark purple, but at least it is not hurting. I haven't gone out since I hurt it so I haven't had to try putting on my shoes yet.

Good idea except Doc tells me to weigh myself first thing each morning because of one medicine I take. Problem is my bathroom is not all that big and it is always in the way. The only other place that is tile is the kitchen and it isn't all that big either. Every other room is carpeted and the scale doesn't work right on carpeting. And, on top of all of that, I have always been a barefoot gal.

reads like it may be broken. not a lot you can do but you can tape it to the next toe and the socks are good. if it continues to ache a bit of a tipple in the tea wouldn't hurt.

I should have added that one of those impacts came from....
a entryway with a sharp corner that apparently had teeth. I mean, who connect's with a wall? I am clumsy....my mother didn't call me clutsy for nothing. My dad used to say that I was like a, "bull in a China closet."

Oh no!
I have experienced this type of pain at least three times in the past few years. It is horrible. My pinky toe on my left foot now looks like an alien from all of the impact hits. Sending rrayers to you for healing and comfort.
