The is also the ghost lady named, Mary, who walks out of the graveyard and hitches rides with men. She gives them her address so that she can go home and then vanishes. When the guy knocks at the door to inquire about Mary, he is informed by an older woman that her daughter had passed away years ago in a car accident.

I like this story. Or happening. Or event. I don't know the right word. I do recall a Hitchcock show once about a woman a man kept seeing. I think he was driving at night and she kept appearing as a hitchhiker. He'd pass her by, and she'd appear again down the road. Or something like that.
