Re: Shamashere

I know, I must try and make the effort, but you know how it is.

This is a strange war...all facing similar problems or issues. There are groups here as well helping with delivering food, medicines etc. Stock up your supplies as the coming weeks may be harder as governments feel the need to extend lockdowns or impose further restrictions.

Nice poem. Miss seeing photos of your lovely flowers.

Things have really heated up with COVID-19 and the U.S. as well...A very adorable poem.

Re:sassyass 64

No it is unusual for ones Prime Minister to succumb. I really hope most of us just get a mild infection, or do not get infected and it will  cease to be such a threat

Re: It seems the virus is messing with EVERYthing - making life more

Yes a bit of a wakeup call Pat I notice that your country has taken severe casualties.

As you say one day over the rainbow we may be more contented with the norm.

Re:

Thank you S.G. I hope when folk have stocked up it will be easier to get deliveries.

Little things we took for granted appear to have grown in stature. I suppose we have always ,for some time now relied on the norm and this is'nt.

Re: I am so sorry to hear that you are going through this.

Yes we have been a bit slow getting off the ground, but the old wartime spirit has not died and organisations are taking hold of the situation.

Re: Taps

Well I don't think of any of the folk here as distant although we are. I guess it is a World wide disaster. We jog along with a little worries until we are submerged in a life and death situation. I guess quite a few folk now discover prayer that will hopefully spare loved ones and good friends. Take care, I know you have dear Ribcage to care for..

Re: Corbin

All the panic and troubles of Brexit now a distant memory. Yes he is a good guy and we must all do want we can.

It appears that your Prime Minister is in severe trouble, pray for him!

Isn't it strange that a whole ocean separates you and me and yet we have the same problems, the same concerns, the same possibilities for the same illness.  We must pray for each other and be thankful that we are friends no matter what.  What a pleasure it was to read the poem for today.

I am so sorry to hear that you are going through this.

It is rough here too, but not that bad. We have food banks set up everywhere for people to drive through and pick up groceries. I pray that this ends just as fast as it began.

I hope you are able to get supplies and food without going out. The flowers will take care of themselves until you can do so. it’s nice there are groups helping out. There is one but in Los Angeles but not here. After a week got a partial food order at 10:30 last night. I liked your poem about the girl on the beach.

difficult than ever imagined. A year from now, or maybe two we'll think of it as just another version of the flu. We'll get our shots and go on with life - although maybe we'll be just a little happier with boring normal.
