Even though I know that the Covid-19 problem is all over the world, it was kind of a wakeup call for me to read your post today.  In my mind I think of your walled property/garden as a haven away from the world of problems with flowers growing everywhere and a walnut tree for making pickles.  I need to think of my friends as safe and warm and comfortable and without problems.

Our yard is small, but we grow a few veggies.

Hopefully we will be back in the swing of things in a few months.

I think I’ll do a little home garden - we’ll see. Literally, inside. The rabbits, squirrels, mice, rats, raccoons, possums and bugs take care of eating anything grown outside. Well, I could get a hothouse perhaps. I liked the idea of sweets in your sweet poem.

Delivery by UPS (United Parcel Service) is not a problem...you just can't step in an eight-foot "bubble" around the delivery guy...If you ignore the rules they won't deliver to you until this is all over with...

It is so complicated now to plan a veggie garden - especially if it's

food to sell. We have a farmer's market here on Saturdays most years, beginning in April - but this year it may not happen. I hope your ingrown nail is soon all back to normal - had one once and it was worse than childbirth, and nothing to show for the pain and inconvenience.
