I hope you find and are able to get supplies Those of us who are quarantined can feel shackled. Don't be shy about asking someone to make a store run for you. My sister said the meat department in her area was cleaned out. Nothing. My daughter really needs TP and there is none to be found right now. I'll share our supply - how strange is that?

Re:

Good idea.  Don't be in too big of a rush to get back.  This too will pass.

Re: adnohr

It sounds like you are all set up for the long haul.    I will pretty much just be taking everything one day at a time.

Re: They were out of chicken pot pies when I went to the store this morning,

Around the first of the year I discovered that Perkins Restaurant had a really good chicken pot pie combo on their new menu, and since then have introduced Nila and Son Stephen to them and enjoyed three or four times.  You get a very good pot pie, a salad on the side, and choice of any pie.  Now, though, am leary of eating out.

I'm quarantined. Our Provincial Prime Minister has told all persons over 70 or who may have underlying health problems to stay inside away from people. To have our food, neccessities delivered. Even to stay away from family members. I'm one off thee lucky ones - I can work from home, my kids can drop things off for me in my garage andd we do lots of Facetime. I hope others who are out there and able are giving the poor souls who are alone some help!

They were out of chicken pot pies when I went to the store this morning,

and I noticed the toilet paper aisle was completely devoid of product. Fortunately I had bought my usual 2-week's supply a couple days before the invasion of the TP snatchers. Folks at the store were saying good morning, but keeping their distance, and if one is willing to substitute, there are plenty of choices available. As for the chicken pot pie, that's not on my healthy list - it's just a craving that comes along from time to time.  Until the governor tells us all people 65 and over have to stay home, I'll be risking the occasional venture out for necessaries.

I would love to have a pantry, but luckily I have a huge cupboard that offer's enough space for a month's worth of groceries. We shop a week at a time too. I have also not felt the need to buy up entire shelves of paper products or food supplies. I am relying a lot on God and common sense. At the end of the day that is what we have.
