Re: Corbin
Trouble is no one knows what's next. I don't think there is too much panic buying here yet. Although some things are not on the shelves in great abundance,

Re:sassyass 64
Well I expect you were appreciated for providing the necessary glamor.
I woman told me, she used to blog on here that she worked with two hundred men
and wore her personal identity.

Re: The foods of yesteryear that I miss are mama's home made bread
Pat this old girl was a terror she frightened most folk but , as I tolerated her, she
kind of called on me each day. My Mum used to make home made bread, it was as you say very .munchous .

Re: Bill
A good idea Bill, we are being restricted on bags or made to use reusable ones.

In New York and New Jersey, nylon stockings might be used to put in groceries at supermarkets. Plastic bags are being outlawed sir.

I used to dress nicely at my job. Not just me, everyone. The foods from once-upon-time were so different then also. A nice poem.

The foods of yesteryear that I miss are mama's home made bread
sliced thick with a pat of butter melting into the yeasty freshness. And she made the best toll house cookies, an apple pie during the season. I love your description of the two on a bench, over-enjoying a week's supply of wine.

I remember my nylon days. Working for the officer's club, we were expected to dress the part. Skirts, fancy blouses and nylons. I don't mind dressing up once in awhile, but I am happy that those days are behind me.
