Oh wow. Those old world treatments were something else. I can sympathize though...as a girl at age 9, I was also very sick, but thankfully, no brain food was part of the offering.

I was very sick when I was a little girl of 7. Dr said that sheep's brains would be good for me so my parents kept feeding them to me. I hid them under the carpet square in my bedroom. They were so sad when they found them.

I am not a fan of meat, especially that of baby cows and their brains. I am a true lover of crab and shrimp, and those fish eyes would for sure make me hurl.
