Yes Pat those icicles could be very dangerous. Not any chance of any here though
We had an apology of a frost this morning. I have not even covered the outside tap this winter. It must be Global warming or just how things have always been and we don't have the capacity to remember a few centuries back. I do know that the Romans grew grapes in England once and now they have been grown here for several years.

still a pristine white landscape outside up here in the true north, but i don't mind. I cannot think that I will get much gardening done this year or from now on.

Those super cold winters feel like they are never going to end. That's how I feel whenever we get one of those polar vortexes.

The darling robin is a reminder that Spring will come. A good omen, I would guess. But boy, it must be cold there. Quite the story about the icicles and the cut. I didin't know about that. Thanks for shariing the lovely memories.
