Writing prompts are alway an excellent idea when writers become blocked or run out of topics, and a wheel sounds like fun.

Great ideas. Also, online there are a number of writing prompts - just Google those two words. They may or may not be helpful.

When I was learning about clocks and time-telling, my mom cut out a disc, put the clock numbers on it, and used one of those splay-out brads to mount the clock's hands, so they would turn. I'll bet you could make your wheel like that, or ask for one of the other members of the group to make your spinner.
