Oh no. Once upon a time, I used to lose my work due to accidents or power outages, but I have learned to save as I go. So sorry about your extra workload. As for taxes, ugh!

I don't know any technique for stopping the first letter cap but

when I back up and repeat it as lower case, it usually stays that way in Word.

I just lost my comment to you! Such a beautiful poem. I’m sorry you have so much rain there. Fish in the street...Wow!  No, I don’t know how to stop the capital letter on each new line. My phone does that and I find it bothersome. Word also does that at times. Rrrhhh. Keep me posted if you find the answer to stop it. Taxes were done this week. Barely safe for another year.
