I do recall that song. It was played on TV in Westerns. We have tumbleweeds here but nothing like what I saw on the news last night! Besides cars, they covered up a semi! Unbelievable.

Fifty years ago we used to go every summer to the Colorado Chuck Wagon suppers and the singing of The Sons of the Pioneers. How fun it was. How our little boys loved it.

I remember that song ... played on the big old radio in its wooden encasement.

A song of that time, at least I suggest that one could appreciate the words.
It is there in most cowboy films rolling up the dusty town road.

I am not entirely sure why, but I am familiar with the song. I am even more familiar with tumbleweeds. I have lived in Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, and California. The desert is an awesome sight, and tumbling tumbleweeds were something that we witnessed when living in the high desert of Nevada.

That must be an incredible sight to block the road like that. I have never seen a tumbleweed in person.
