I, too, have dropped the gauntlet and my dear girls happily now carry it. Except on Christmas Eve. You still are cooking goodies and enjoying the company of family. Sounds wonderful, dear. It’s all good.

I enjoyed decorating with the kids, FSI
But it's ok not doing it this year. The Rugrats surely had fun doing it with their dad, and I know how expensive the stufff is when buying it just before Christmas, so it helped them out. And I won't have to spend time taking it down after the holiday is over.

A lot of great time spent with family. As someone who does not decorate for Christmas, I find it to be very freeing.
