We did a sixth grade field trip to a teacher's house, where she had 1800s glass. I accidentally broke a glass. Embarrassing.

Oh, poor you! I can just see that happening. I accidentally broke my mother’s pearl necklace when I was 5 that was my dad’s wedding gift to her. The pearls bounced all over the wood floor and fell into a floor heater under the house. Gone.
