Yes a sign of old age FS. Got to grin and wear it, if it fits.

Re: Pat
Well one gets the best blooms if the seed is planted now and the plants hardened off slowly. We live in the south east and recently have not had severe Winters. Of course when I was a boy there hardly anyone near to us. Now every little space is filled and we are surrounded By houses. It must make the conditions warmer.

I've known of a few people who've lost weight as they got older. It keeps the clothing economy going, LOL...I like how you put the after first. It set the tone.

I think the temperature and humidity in your area must be more
friendly to sweetpeas - it gets jungle humid and steamy hot here in summer, some of that tropical air comes up to this area from the Gulf Coast. We also get the remnants of hurricanes here, in addition to the tornadoes that decorate at the fringes between winter/spring and summer/fall when there are huge weather fronts. Mom used to raise them when we lived in the state of Washington, mild weather most of the time with plenty of rain in from the Pacific coast, though. I loved the scent. Hope Archie is up and around again soon, and that your days bring energy and strength, too...
