Re: Ciel

Stephen (P.D.) has not actually seen any spiders at all, but because of what he does, it seems there is always risk.  He buys old houses and re-does them for resale.  He calls what he is working on at the time his "Project House".   The house he and Phil live in is the first one he did after moving back to Missouri.   Recluse spiders love anywhere that is storage-type space like garages, storage sheds, etc. where one stores stuff and then rummages for what they need.

Spider season, and also the mice begin showing their wuffly noses in the house.

I have not seen any recluse spiders, but we do see black widows, sometimes in the shower. I catch-and-release when I find them. They are not as dangerous as the brown recluse guys, and we'd have more annoying bugs around if it weren't for the spiders!

I'm wishing P.D. all the best after his spider bite.

Eww, that's awful. I hope he manages to get it cleared up without

too much trouble. As a rule I admire spiders - they're so industrious and they take out other insects and flying nuisances - but the brown recluse scares the beJesus out of me.

I really do not like spiders...I don't feel like they have a purpose!

I hope he'll be alright. Check on him. Those bites are serious. We also have that problem here.
