LOL. Now days I wear the crocheted caps that Pat_B made for me. I love them. They are comfortable and pretty and I push my straggly hair up under them and they keep it in control.

The one you picture here is so adorable... I can see why the kids liked it, and kept track of it's metamorphosis... And you, dear Taps, although adorable, do not yet approach hag status...
