We are dealing with that right now so I keep trying to type faster to beat the peals of thunder and flashes of lightning.

Well Pat my brother always disconnects if he stays with me . I usually get moaned at for not doing it at the the first warning.

There are surge protectors on the plugs.One on the house is very sensitive it is the phone lines that we have to watch as well.

I like Corbin's idea of the surge protector...Motherhood and fatherhood really is a major change for a person's life.

You should consider getting a "surge protector" and have your computer plugged into that.

I should have disconnected the computer the night it received a fatal virus, or shut off the Internet sir.

I always wonder what would be best to do when bad weather comes around while I am working on something.  I usually just close down and go do something else.

That decision we weigh as the thunder grows louder,

should we shut down before the eclipse, or tough it out?  Sometimes it goes out without warning, but there's nothing to be done about that.
