We hung out in a pool hall/bar. But we did often get drunk beyond recognition. Instead of singing karaoke, we played pool--or tried to. One night I bet my friend she wouldn't go into the phone booth and kiss the strange guy that was in there talking on the phone. She did it. The guy enjoyed it so much, he hung up the phone so he could concentrate on kissing. I think they got married later and had a couple of kids.
