Yes the trouble is we are not getting any, I think the reservoirs are OK because it rained quite a lot early in the year. Of course some have had flooding. Houses too near rivers are not good news.

Pat at the beginning of WW2 Peace roses were sent to America .I suppose the grower wanted them to survive . I have one outside ,I'll take snap of course your Peace rose might have been a different variety.

The yellow rose is lovely.
Mother used to grow one she paid a premium for from the seed catalog - it was called the Peace rose, yellow heart with peachy color at the edge of the petals. And of course it smelled heavenly.

My favorite color for a rose. How lovely. I planted out a couple of those little miniatures last summer and they survives the winter. One does have a bud on it so maybe I too will get a rose.
