rope or camel or whatever, it makes me always give thanks that no I am so far from the 1% as I can think of ....and BTW am gald about, but that I still live in one of the most wealthy parts of the World. I have never gone hungry or too cold or barefoot or longed for a roof over my head. Not even once in my life.

Of course, if you look up the quote in the Peshitta Bible--the most accurate translation from the Aramaic by a scholar raised with both English and Aramaic as household languages--it is more along the lines of, "It is easier for a rope to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven."
Apparently, the difference is a jot in the wrong place, or a flyspeck on the original copy translated by the medieval monks who did not speak Aramaic fluently. It was not the only error in translation.
