My mother always had old-fashioned phlox in her yard garden. She loved them and took really good care of her gardens. She had a lot of special things there, intriguing ones like Dutchman's Breeches and lily of the valley on the north side.

There's a market in this little town where they sell potted plants and
hanging baskets which they start and nurture in offsite greenhouses. They don't try to sell cut flowers, but do have a selection of silk arrangements that people use to decorate graves on Memorial day and other occasions. Would some of these flowers that are too short for cutting work for your sale as planted baskets?
When I think of England I think of the climate as persistently damp and rainy. It's strange to think of it being so dry you have to think of installing sprinklers.
Thank you for the Uncle Albert poem.
