Yes it was rather cruel, I suppose I just got used to it. No child likes to feel segregated .

Years later she asked my Dad if he would ask me if she could have a chicken ready for the table. I saw her once thump a little gipsy boy until he slid on the floor.

We had a female headmaster at my middle school who I wasn't keen on...Love does turn us into things we think we cannot be.

She was evil and horrid. Why punish you like that? For all of the days, when you had missed one afternoon?? You poor thing. It makes me angry that someone would cause a child to suffer that. I’m sorry that happened. You Poem was lovely.

I concur with the others. What a nasty teacher! Perhaps another profession would have been better for her. Let's say prison guard.

That teacher would - in my script - be outfitted in an SS uniform and

spiked boots. What a beyutch! I do enjoy your wistful poems. There was a song with the lyrics, "I was lookin' back to see if she was lookin' back at me," but yours makes it mistier and a bit softer.
