It seems that a "child" never stops wanting the love of a parent who did not provide that love. I'm sorry that was the case in your life. However, you have overcome and in the end, that's what is important. Thank you for a lovely post.

My Dad was a Corker. Loved him as much as a person can and miss him still and always will. VTV. a farmer who loved his wife and two girls and adored his 5 grandchildren. he enjoyed his life on the land but family came first above everything with him.

Nice that some old traditions are being observed . Yes a good father is a blessing to any family. There must be sadness when this is not so.

I read somewhere that some dreams are puns. Maybe that will help you translate someof those nonsensical elements.

I just so happened to be hit hard with a dream that gave me a great story idea. There's a lot to refine, for this dream had elements that didn't make sense.
