Yes you have seen them Plastic over hoops. I prefer the greenhouse but they are too expensive .

Dept California lists plants if you look for toxic garden plants. Most only cause a rash to sensitive skin, but I always wonder when I see folk walking around with a purchase if they know.

I thought of you and your sweet peas yesterday CCT, when I was
at the store - in the baking aisle. And there, among the organic flours and grains in Bob's Red Mill display was an item called pea protein. It's an additive for thickening cookie or bread dough, or can be added to juice smoothies to turn them into protein shakes. I suspect it's the same stuff the chemists have adapted and turned into non-meat hamburger.
