I wouldn't have any idea how to do a solid foundation for adaptation to a movie even though I have read many books that have been made into good movies.

Continuity is my biggest issue when it comes to my writing. I spend most of my editing dealing with continuity issues. It's not so much big picture stuff but little stuff like having someone sitting, then suddenly standing.
