The garden sound lovely, and I'll bet that hail is a problem. THe birds here have hidden with the weather so wintery, but perhaps they will reappear now that we are expecting sun. Glad your drought is over. I miss working in the yard. Perhaps a little at a time. I'll take pain breaks.

We all have our problems the greenhouses become too hot we drape nets over. I hope you have luck with the peppers, I don't think I could chance them here.

In light of all the floods in this area, including a couple of
levee breaches that led to evacuations, a drought doesn't sound like such a bad thing. My niece posted a video from Alton, IL - where the flood of '93 was the highest on record and this one is within a foot of that. The flooded Mississippi here has shut down the north-south route along the river, filled up the downtown area in Alton, Grafton and other river towns. Also weary of daily/nightly tornado watches and hail-infused thunderstorms. It's almost time for the fireflies to show up at twilight. Hope it's not too wet for them.
