Pat you are lucky to save the seeds, they get the rust here almost yearly/ Sweet Williams have also been a problem, so I saved some seed from couple of plants that showed resistance/ The new seedlings seem very vigorous. This year there has not been a sign of rust but we have only had 4inches of rain. We usually get that in February.

Love hollyhocks. Grew up with them and always had them in my yard when we owned our own home. I miss them in the years I have lived in apartment complexes.
