Pat - Great post, I almost said “article...”
And you’ve just demonstrated your journalistic skills by packing a lot of info into a small space. So interesting. We do meet some strange ones along our journey, don’t we?

Well that way you met the real people behind the news. I guess it was fun and a good learning experience. One can feel the young Pat in the thought waves

Re: FormerStudentIntern
The woman wasn't the inspiration for the Dorothy character. She thought she WAS that character. She called herself a little girl trapped in a big woman's body, and related conversations she'd had with the great and wondrous OZ, which did not make it into the printed story.

You packed in a lot of interesting experiences in a short time there...The woman who claimed to be the inspiration for Dorothy sounds like she was an incredible person.
