As one born with a stomach issue, having spent the first month of my life in a hospital, and the rest of my life babying my tummy, I feel badly for you. You're right, aging ain't for sissies.

I hug you for your honesty and this is yet another dilemma that can keep us locked to our homes and alone. Wiley has terrible trouble as you do. Me...I celebrate when things finally work and I suffer really terrible painful reflux as well. I agree, it is really difficult to work out what one can. or cannot eat.

I had these concerns on the China trip, and carried a supply of Immodium tablets. I didn't actually need them much, but it was good to know I had a line of defense against unpredictability in exotic places.

Getting older, one's digestive system certainly developsa cruel mind of its own. At 33, I've been lucky so far.
