Except bugs. I draw a hard line at bugs. Sea bugs are fine--shrimp,lobster--but not dry land bugs. You can get deep-fried scorpion-onna-stick here, and there is no way! Witchetty grubs big as a baby's fist you could get in Australia, but no. Just no.

I, on the other hand, have to give everything a try, especially what I don't know. Once I do, though, I will go back for more of the favorites! Much on offer here, the difference is in preparation, not in the ingredients, so it isn't all that unknown.

I always like to stop at the Chinese bakery on the street across from the Market stalls. The bbq pork humbao has a bit of booze in it...

I'm guessing the puppy ice cream is shaped like, but not made of....
When I lived in Seattle I used to visit the Public Market shops and stalls - and some of the lower level restaurants. A newly arrived restaurant owner from Asia offered a surprising variety of American style breakfasts.
