Re: Love the flowers, and the sweet-peas reminders of Mom's garden

Well Pat we planted another row of Sweet peas under a tunnel today

. Last year a florist wanted white ones for a wedding.

I know I thought that myself, but then a little girl

might think it a bit of a lark to call a young man Toad.

The battle between winter and spring continues onward...Even though one gets old, love can overcome those feelings because one is feeling so great.

Good luck to you and your sweet peas!  I like the Toad poem, and also the Toad.

Love the flowers, and the sweet-peas reminders of Mom's garden

way back when... As for the verse, being called "Toad" doesn't seem romantic at first blush, but then... well, maybe we should think again.
