It's a great feeling to do it...but sometime I wonder if they are selling their list to other charities....I stick with the Salvation Army.

I'm over-extended on charities, also, but am so glad they're doing
something for wildlife, especially rhino and other big animals. I'm sorry to read about Maarifa's loss - it's tough to lose one you've gotten attached to, even long distance. I hope they find out what was wrong and keep it from happening to any others.

Yes, however charitable we want to be, these days we have to have priorities, and we have to decide whether to commit to support monthly or yearly or just the once. There needs to be research into the charities themselves, to know that the cause actually gets the donation... Sometimes it's overwhelming when you've given at all, and are on all the contact lists. I can't tell you how many personal address labels I have by now, I've even lost count of how many groups send them out!

The trouble is Ciel there are so many Charities I have 7 and I really can't keep taking more on. It is sad that such acts of goodness are not supported. It is sweet of you to honor your freind's memory.
