Yes it was a good one. Amazing how many folk took that voyage . It must have been dire straits over here at the time. Well I know there was The Irish potato famine and that terrible epidemic around the time of WW1.

On the way to a whale-watching day cruise off Long Island, I stopped at a pharmacy and got a packet of motion-sickness prevention. I'd had occasional motion sickness before and did not want this experience ruined! Not everyone thought of that... By the time we docked again, I'd handed out all the tablets!

Having gotten seasick before, I can say it is a pretty miserable experience, and I would've preferred to have walked as well...It's amazing all that some people to come over here.
