They know they had not better. It is not there real names of course, Arthur is a Doctor of physiology . His idea of fun is doing the crossword. Archie was my first helpmate, he left after 25 years and became a milkman. He used to run all through the night and never stop for a drink. He came back to me a few years ago and is a character. But it is only his nature. He keeps sawing up pallets he cannot keep up with the demand in winter, whether it pays or not Heaven knows. Of course if he did not help me i would pack my garden project up and let it run wild I expect.

Well they used to call my brother Karl Marks . He
always had the best fishing spot standing on a pipe over the reservoir . Now he is like is old Grampy was a bit grumpy until all the chores are done and then he wants to act about.

Yes sports shops sell what folk think they need. just like fashion shops . i remember when I bought a new pair of ex-army trousers. They were about 3 sizes too large.

Well they were £6 just to show how things have changed I had £5 on my 21st Birthday . M Dad could not really afford it though. Arthur likes new coats, i have about 6 decent ones the trouble is they don't wear out.

You get the new coat, let him keep his tried and true--or tired and rued--old coat.

I didn't know there is such a thing as a fishing coat. That sounds like a nice gift...The honeymoon period has a tendency to end quickly.
