Yes Pat we have boxes for different waste products . I don't know how it works out eventually. Down at the dump there are 14 different bins to segregate the waste . I suppose we have not got the room to keep dumping rubbish . A lot of unicycled stuff goes to be burnt and makes energy. Still too much plastic ,but it is being remedied.

I like going to dumps and recycling centers. I've always liked trash trucks, too...Very cute poem you have shared with us.

P.D., Son #3, has made many trips to the dump what with two properties he bought old to make new again, and both with lots of big old trees dropping limbs at every storm. I have never been to the dump myself. It does not call to me as a place I want to explore.

I really enjoy following the lines and ideas in your poetry...
When you said you were taking the batteries & other electronics to the dump it made me wonder whether it is a special recycling center where such things can be repurposed or disposed of so as not to pollute the ground/water. Our little town has a day now and then when they set up a dumpster to collect old tv's, etc., but we're not supposed to toss them in the trash containers.
