I agree. I don't see things denigrating into a civil war any time soon. Most people are happy to use their fingers on social media to go back and forth.

I agree with every word of your post. But "sensible corrections" seem to be very rare, and "reasonable people" seem to be an endangered species these days.
The more extreme liberals/pacifists/progressives/socialists/muslims, who represent a minority, are becoming more vocal and forceful. They are backed by the Antifa-type thugs, who are ready to burn buildings and destroy cars at a moment's notice. This will require a pushback by conservatives/traditionalists/capitalists/christians, who represent the majority. If the conservative pushback does not succeed, and the conservatives continue to be oppressed, then we could indeed see some sort of escalation of violence into a civil war.
But I would say, if it escalates into a civil war, the conservatives will kick ass bigtime, because we have lots of guns and know how to use them...... while the liberals panic and faint at the sight of a gun.

when two sides believe without doubt or stopping to really listen to what the other side is saying. When both sides latch onto outlandish writings in dubious magazines and call it truth without finding out if it is really the full truth or something taken out of content....oh help i gotta go...having a really awful day dear friend.
