I am reminded of Laura Ingalls Wilder's book, THE LONG WINTER. When I read that as a kid maybe 7 or 8 yrs old, it seemed that winter would never end!

Well Taps it was like a Spring day here today. It made me feel really sleepy. I hope we are not catching it from Blogit.

It's a mess over there. Pretty soon, though, it will be spring.

You're right. Kansas City has had a totally negatory winter, not the
least of insults was the bad call that lost the Chiefs the super bowl bid. But they'll be primed for bear come next season, and if things fall into place, they'll get the trophy. Here's hoping the spring brings a glorious response to winter's gray, and a stretch of temperate sunshine. You and KC deserve a break!

And oh my - the weather forecast for the next few days in Kansas City isn't likely to bring up morale! Maybe try binge watching comedies, or movies you have really loved? Lose yourself in a book? Ordering delivery of favorite foods already prepared so that you don't have to cook? Spoil yourself a little while waiting for this to pass. We're at the end of February. Spring really is around the corner. Sending you a warm SMILE!

I used to have relatives in K.C. Stay warm, and safe. We saw the roads there on the news.
