Re:
Ah here in lies a very interesting coincidence - Pooka in Hawaiian means zero or hole and pooka shells are the little doughnut shells found on many of Hawaii's beaches. they are called pooka shells because of said hole. Pookas (several different spellings) are malignant little faeries (several different versions) found in Celtic lore, and in all of the versions I have encountered in my (very unscientific) studies are associated with well ventilated stones of one sort or another. Pookas are EVERYWHERE!!!!

Very nicely done. Reminds me of pooka shell earrings a cousin brought back for me from Hawaii.

Re:
not sure if selling Pooka stones is kosher -- I think it is a manditory DIY project. I will have to confer with my Mystical Matters experts.

Re: (sigh) if only I were near the beach
Unfortunately there are so many Pookas because there are so many unblocked stones. I think they might hitch rides on people that have been to the beach and not blocked stones. So if any of your friends or family have gone to the ocean be sure to check them for Pooka nits.

(sigh) if only I were near the beach
a Pooka stone I'd try to reach...But I'm 2,000 miles away from coastlines as a place to play. (Funny thing, the Pooka seems able to reach and play its tricks.)
