Re: RPresta
Yes what we call crisps or even larger ones which I bought by mistake and my brother said they were eaten with something or other, he knows all about food,so I let him cook.
I did mean frozen taters, spuds, cut into little soldiers, dipped in oil and frozen, as you say bought by the bag. I was younger when I wrote this

Re: Pat
We have our little fads as I told Arthur pouring salad cream over his meal was as bad as a portion of chips.

Oh, I do enjoy Wolfy's adventurous spirit...
As for the chips - some expert said here that a full serving would be six of the Mc Donald's style fries - well under half of what comes in a serving bag. If your chips are fried, then any more than six with a meal would add a lot of calories. Doesn't help the spirit to do without entirely, but you two might find it easier to do with half a portion. Good luck with your slimming...

It's sometimes difficult to lose a pound or two. Here chips mean potato chips - those things that are fried, thin and crunchy, and come in bags at the grocery story. I thought, no, those chips aren't good with pork chops, though I realized when in England, the word "chips" are different. Also, you would probably use the word 'chips' with a single apostrophe, as I just did here. lol. You poem is cute, very cute. Naughty, naughty.
