I suppose we have come a long way in the
evolutionary process and probably have a long way to go before we can class ourselves as perfect. It is rather nice to feel that you can love tourself.

Thank you for the new word. As the others have said, the sense of
being divergent and needing to hide some of ourselves is not unfamiliar. But I had to look up your "dvergr" in my Oxford paperback dictionary. No such luck. But I'm adding it as you wrote and defined it to my personal dictionary - it's wonderful. So are you.

I think we all must have some values that are foreign to others and that is what makes us unique. We can each feel badly about our uniqueness, or we can revel in it and profit from it in some way. One must love themselves or they will forever feel that no one else does either. You are very special. You make others happy by being you.
